He is available for in-class visits to observe and provide feedback on how important principles are applied to classroom practice.

Michael Griffin’s Biography: 

(M.Ed Studies, B.Ed, A.Mus.A) – educator, speaker, author, conductor and pianist.

Michael Griffin is an internationally renowned speaker in achievement and motivation. Michael’s core proposition is that progress is the great motivator, and through the lens of Growth-Mindset, the greatest factor for making progress is the quality and quantity of effort. Michael has a unique capacity for communicating complex ideas to a simple, practical, and relevant framework of action.

Michael has been the Keynote or Consultant Speaker at numerous global events for school leaders in cities including Nice, Luxembourg, Brunei, Doha, London, Beijing, Johannesburg, Colombo, Geneva, Hamburg and Hong Kong as well as Australia. He has consulted for Cambridge University Press and spoken in 300 schools in more than 25 countries, including every state throughout Australia as well as renowned international schools such as Eton (UK) and United World College, South East Asia (Singapore).

Michael has held a range of school positions to the level of Deputy Principal. He is a recipient of the South Australian Education and Arts Ministers’ Prize, a nominee for a National Teacher Excellence Award, and is listed in the inaugural Who’s Who South Australia.

Michael is the author of five books concerning music education. He is a consummate pianist, and has performed at special events for Muhammad Ali and Bill Clinton, and has held guest residencies at Dubai’s iconic Burj al Arab and Australia’s Hayman Island. A conductor and adjudicator, Michael directed the first school choir in history to win one of Australia’s major choral prizes, the Australasian Open Choral Championship.
